Well it is truly the festive season here in Barbados as Crop Over fever is well and truly here. It is a wonderful time for the Island as there are numerous events planned from 4th July through to the 4th August 2008 (Kadooment Day), which is the finale. Those of you who will be staying with us during the last week of July and early August and would like to be able to as we say "jump" in a band. Settlers Beach is looking beautiful with all the flowers in bloom, just in time for all our summer travelers. It will be a busy few weeks for us with many individuals and families arriving to spend the summer enjoying the many things the Island has to offer.
Some updates for you on Spago Restaurant's weekly events. They have started a Sunday Brunch with Live steel pan and are introducing a Lobster night from 24th July 2008. The evening of the Managers Cocktail party the live music runs through the evening, creating a great atmosphere for the guests to stay on and enjoy their evening. Spago's Pizza oven is now installed and they are delicious homemade bases and fresh toppings. You just have to try them.
Those of you thinking ahead for a break before the crazy Christmas season starts, early October is a great time to come as the Barbados Food Festival is on, the events are excellent and the food is WOW.
